Hmmm. Advanced critique.
I'm usually opposed to giving critiques. I don't really feel qualified, and I'd hate to sound insulting in any way, but I'll give it a shot
As usual, the coloring is great. You have a nice grasp on atmospheric perspective. The figure itself is very well drawn as well.
The only thing I could suggest to improve this would be to experiment with texture, particularly on the dragon
To clarify- a dragon's belly is smoother than its back. In this pic, the dragon is closest to the eye, enabling one to see the difference in the scale textures.Adding a few quick rounded shingled lines of dark orange, green or a bronze yellow around the snout, ribs or shoulders would help differentiate the belly scales from the back scales (too many of these lines would make the figure cluttered and would take away from the background)
then again, the dragon is relaxed, and therefore his scales would sit flat against his body. A dragon in flight or a dragon in attack mode would appear to have rougher scales than in actuality. See why I suck at this? XD
